OpenCloud

Self-hosted OpenCloud file storage and collaboration. A dedicated instance we run for you, not a multi-tenant SaaS. No per-user fees, no third-party access.

File storage and sharing without the SaaS

OpenCloud gives you the convenience of Google Drive or Dropbox without the per-user fees or a third party reading your documents. Your instance runs on a dedicated server we manage for you, not a multi-tenant cloud shared with thousands of other customers. Sharing links live on your domain, and access rules are yours to set.

When OpenCloud makes sense

If your business handles documents that are sensitive, regulated, or just valuable enough that you would rather not have them live on a SaaS cloud, OpenCloud is the right fit. It also makes sense when team size is growing fast enough that per-user SaaS fees start to bite, or when you want file storage to integrate with the rest of your self-hosted stack.

What we set up

1
Aerial view of a man using a laptop on a wooden table

Branded file portal

A clean file browser at files.yourdomain.com with your colors and logo, usable by staff and clients without a separate install.

2
Close-up of code on a monitor in a server room

Sharing and permissions

Public links with expiry dates, password-protected shares, per-folder access rules. Team drives for internal collaboration, external shares for clients.

3
Meeting with data sheets, someone pointing at a laptop

Client portals

Dedicated folders per client where they can drop deliverables and pick up files. No more "can you email me the latest version".

4
Close-up of code on an upper left monitor in a server room

Backup and sync

Desktop and mobile clients sync files automatically. Automated off-site backups of the whole instance, so data loss is recoverable.
